Blank Panels
The blank panels come in three sizes: 3 HP, 6 HP and 12 HP. The 6 HP and 12 HP versions have no function beyond making your Rack look more beautiful by adding the Vult logo.
The 3 HP panel is not blank
The smallest panel hides a vector generator. It has X and Y outputs that, patched into a scope in X-Y mode, draw a logo. The shape is traced continuously rather than stored as an image, so it can be scanned slowly, stretched, or pushed to audio rate where it becomes a sound source of its own.
- Speed: how fast the shape is traced. At low settings the scope draws the outline slowly; turned up, the outputs reach audio rate.
- X and Y (knobs): scale the drawing on each axis, which stretches or squashes the shape.
- X and Y (outputs): the two coordinates. Both need to be patched for the drawing to make sense.
The outputs only run while something is connected to them, so an unpatched panel costs nothing.

Right-click the panel to pick the logo it draws. Besides the Vult logo it carries a set of logos from people in the VCV Rack community:
